How long does each therapy session take?

A typical session lasts for one hour and 45-50 minutes are direct therapy or assessment. 10-15 minutes spare for logistic and record taking. The intake session (first appointment) takes longer time and usually takes up two sessions.  For couples therapy, the session usually lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

How many sessions do I need to attend?

There is no pre-defined number of sessions. It depends on the severity of your issues and your progress. However, you can terminate the therapy whenever you think it is appropriate to terminate. The therapist will tell you the pros and cons of the termination. Also, you can resume the therapy by making a  new appointment with the therapist.
